Materials: Paper, Pencil, Straight Edge, Black Sharpie

1) Start with a small regtangle/square some were in the middle area of your paper

2) Draw 4 lines from the corners of your paper to the corners of the rectangle/square

3) In each section draw lines from the edge of your paper to the rectangle, dividing each section with 3 lines making four seperated pieces withing that section

4) Draw Horizantal lines across the top and botton sections and vertical lines in the left and right section. In this process slowly decrease the space in between the lines making the tiles appear smaller and smaller

5) MAKE SURE ALL HORIZANTAL AND VERTICAL LINES CONNECT TO MAKE RECTANGLES. As you can see I made that mistake in step for and fixed it in step 5, so step six is what your illusion should look like before coloring.

6)Use sharpie to color in a checkerboard fashion, no black should never touch a black and no white tile should ever touch a white.

7) Admire and stare at your final product!
