My theme was hope v.s hopelessness for my zine. In order to display that I used a sharp contrast in colors. I used a scheme that was both colorful yet very colorless and used that contrast in order to demonstrate my message. I then used inspirational quotes relating to hope as well as symbols such as the sign for hope  in sign language and then using word play on "finding hope in the silence." I used various different textures through using text as hatch marks but as well as painting textures. Overall I like how my zine turned out but feel that I could definitely improve in my craftsmanship
